The IESO or International Earth Science Olympiad is an annual competition for secondary school students.The students have to test their skills in all major areas of Earth sciences, including geology and geophysics,
meteorology,
oceanography,
terrestrial astronomy and
environmental sciences.
Though the main topics generally asked are from Geosphere, Hydrosphere, Atmosphere and Biosphere, Rocks and fossils and Astronomical phenomenons and other related things.
